I am studying with the support of the unemployment benefit and received a job offer from the TE Office nonetheless?

All beneficiaries of unemployment security have the obligation to seek for and accept full-time work. You have to seek for full-time employment also during studies and language courses. You have to actively look for work and be ready to accept a job or education or training offered by the TE Office.

After receiving a job offer, proceed as follows:

  • Contact the employer.
  • Notify the TE Office within the time limit about having contacted the employer and about whether you got the job or not. You can notify the TE Office through the TE Office e-services, by phone or by e-mail.
  • Accept a job offered to you through the TE Office or directly by an employer. Refusing offered work without a valid reason may lead to loss of the unemployment benefit.
